MDM Rollout of AI Agent Guardrails

Use the device management system you already operate

APort supplies deployment, enforcement and uninstall scripts for managed agent runtimes. Your MDM remains responsible for distributing and scheduling them. Review the deployment guide for Unix and PowerShell paths, prerequisites and the selected framework before targeting devices.

Treat enrollment as a credential boundary

The deployment flow uses an organization enrollment key to prepare device setup and a narrower key for runtime use. Review where the enrollment key is supplied, which template defines authority and how your management system handles secrets. Do not place real keys in a public script or repository.

Pin and review the release used for your pilot. Check repeat deployment behavior on the same device and framework, and collect only the device metadata your organization approves.

Exercise all three script paths

Deploy on a small test group first. The enforcement script checks and repairs installation; the uninstall script removes local guardrail configuration and device state during approved removal. Inspect outputs and test rollback before expanding distribution.

• Deploy: install or reuse the scoped device setup.
• Enforce: check and repair the configured installation.
• Uninstall: remove local setup under the approved IT process.

Agree the Enterprise scope before purchase

Enterprise includes MDM-ready scripts and rollout support. Private deployment, regional options and dedicated response terms require agreement. Record host support, policy ownership, audit retention and rollback responsibilities in the rollout plan.
